  •   Denim Derivation: One of our favourite word- denim is derived from the French name- “Serge de Nimes”, a fabric which was originated in Nimes, France during the middle Ages. Later, the name was twisted into Denim and thus came into existence.

  • Levi Strauss- the Inventors: the original inventor of denims was Levi Strauss who in association with Jacob Davis patented denims in the name of Levi Strauss. Today, there is a wide variety of denim fabric available with different styles and textures. When the denim was first introduced, only basic blue jeans were available and that too were available only for coal miners.
